Extras

*Meals are provided from the Sunday – Saturday, in the event that your squad travels outside of this timeframe meals may need to be purchased. This is the same with food whilst traveling, children should have either a packed lunch or some money to purchase a meal deal in departures or on the flight.

There are a number of extra curricular activities that the children can do during their free time in Gothenburg, such as Swedish Premier Division football matches (Fixtures Schedule dependent), Theme Park, Mini Golf, Trampoline Park, plus other sites and attractions which will incur a cost from each child’s spending money across the week.

Important Information

Every player travelling with us will need to bring their own GHIC card, along with a private sports medical insurance policy that covers them for the full duration of the trip. Please note that no group medical cover is in place during the trip, so it’s now down to each family to arrange their own policy.

There’s actually a real benefit to this: booking independently means you can choose cover that genuinely suits your child, avoids paying twice for insurance they might already have through an existing policy, and makes declaring any pre-existing medical conditions far more straightforward.

When choosing a policy, it’s worth looking for one that covers you from the moment you purchase it, not just from the day you travel, some sports policies will cover a player who picks up an injury in the lead-up to the tournament and is subsequently unable to take part. We’re not able to recommend a specific provider, so please take some time to find a policy that’s right for your child’s circumstances.
